Bonnie Smith

TAMPICO – Bonnie Smith, 55, of Tampico, died Monday, Aug. 5, 2013, at her home. She cleaned houses in Prophetstown and the surrounding area.

Bonnie was born July 12, 1958, in Morrison, the daughter of Robert A. and Mary Lou (Whipple) Smith. She married Steven R. Smith on Dec. 10, 1977, in Prophetstown.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Nicole (Gabe) Olinger and Angela (Adam) Bollman, both of Prophetstown; three grandchildren; two sisters, Sandra Smith of Moline and Susan Odquist of Bronston, Ky.; and one brother, George (Dorothy) Smith of Albany, N.Y.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Steven Smith, in infancy.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Bosma-Gibson Funeral Home in Prophetstown. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Rodney Phelps, pastor of Leon United Methodist Church in Prophetstown, officiating. Interment will be at Leon Cemetery in Prophetstown.

A memorial has been established.
