Violet E. Cosentino

DIXON – Violet E. Cosentino, of Dixon, formerly of St. Charles, died Sunday, July 7, 2013.

She was born in Chicago to Natale and Concetta Calvano.

She is survived by her three daughters, Frances (James) Deasey of St. Charles, Roberta (Joseph) Schadeberg of Seattle, and Jean Ann (Joseph) Welty of Dixon; seven grandchildren, Patrick (Rachael) Deasey, Liane (Robert) O’Brien, Lea Marie (Christian) Binkley, Rebecca Ann (Eric) Lawless, Anthony (Elizabeth) Welty, Christopher (Maureen) Welty, and Jonathan Welty; and 11 great-grandchildren, Deirdre, Zephraim, Corbin, Miles, Tristan, John Ryan, Holly Jean, Lacey Jane, Ryan, Daniel, and Natalie.

She was preceded in death by her husband Frank.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Yurs Funeral Home, 405 E. Main St. (corner of state Routes 64 and 25) in St. Charles. The funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Patrick Crane Road Catholic Church, 6N491 Crane Road, St. Charles. Burial will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Alsip.
