Coffee Cup reopens for business

PRINCETON — The Coffee Cup in Princeton reopened this week after undergoing a month-long renovation of the restaurant.

“We wanted to have a better environment for those people coming here,” said Fatmir Jusufi, the son of owner Brahim Jusufi. “We have never shut down for a month in the 20 years we have owned the place.

“We put in new lights, a new roof, new bathrooms, new ceiling tiles and new carpet,” Jusufi said. “We also put in new tables and new counters.

“We did a lot of cleaning and maintenance to make it a better environment,” he said. “We wanted to keep the feel of the original, but to make it a better environment.”

In addition to the physical improvement, the Coffee Cup’s menu was also updated with more modern items to appeal to more people, reported Jusufi.

The Coffee Cup’s hours are from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. It is located at 628 W. Railroad Ave. at the intersection of North Main Street and Railroad Avenue. It can seat about 150 people and has space for about 50 vehicles.

“We are a family-run and family-owned restaurant,” he added.

Jusufi’s father, Brahim, his mother, Lutfije, and his wife, Argjente, also help to operate The Coffee Cup.
