Join Capt. Hook, TigerLily, Tinkerbell and the rest of the gang, when Midwest Ballet Theatre presents its full-length, original story ballet "Peter Pan" at 1:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, March 9 and 10, in the Tivoli Theatre, 5021 Highland Ave., Downers Grove.
Based on the classic tale by J. M. Barrie, MBT's production of "Peter Pan" premiered in its current form in 1992, with music by Bizet/Auber/Grieg, danced by the young talent of Midwest Ballet. Choreography is by MBT Artistic Director Mim Eichmann.
In the last two decades, MBT's "Peter Pan" has played to thousands of children and their families and remains an audience favorite, Eichmann says. Dancers in the production are from Downers Grove, Darien, Westmont, Clarendon Hills, Naperville, Lemont, Itasca, Lombard and Willowbrook.
