CHICAGO – Katie Gosnell of Johnsburg and Ricky Chapp of St. Charles were married in a double-ring ceremony at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 3, 2012, at Union Station’s Grand Hall in Chicago. The Rev. Robert A. Guntorius officiated.
She is the daughter of Jeff and Inge Gosnell of Johnsburg. He is the son of Richard and Jill Chapp of St. Charles.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white satin A-line gown with sweetheart neckline trimmed with beads and lace.
She carried a bouquet of assorted pink flowers.
Maid of honor was Jacqueline Plett. Matron of honor was Jennifer Mefford, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Betsy Fitzgibbons, Jennifer Fassinger, Katie Orzechowski, Jennifer Tortorice, Jill Kratochwill, and Anna Martinkus. Flower girls were Brooklynn Inman and Daisy Mefford.
Best man was Nick Tomascheck. Groomsmen were Matt Jacobsmeyer, Drew Goncher, Benjy Jay, Ricky Andis and Jason William. Ring bearer was Damien Mefford.
After a reception at Chicago’s Union Station Grand Hall, the couple took a wedding trip to Hawaii.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of Johnsburg High School and a graduate of Lakeview College of Nursing in Charleston. She is an emergency room registered nurse at Centennial Hospital in Las Vegas.
The bridegroom is a 2003 graduate of St. Charles East High School and served in the U.S. Air Force. He is a government contractor working on remotely piloted vehicle communications systems.
They reside in Las Vegas.
