• Steven E. Graham, 57, of the 2400 block of Kane Lane, Batavia, was charged Thursday, May 24, with attempted domestic battery to cause bodily harm, attempted domestic battery to make physical contact and attempted interference with reporting domestic violence.

• Someone Wednesday, May 23, caused criminal damage to a car in the parking lot at 1022 Lorlyn Circle. According to police, there were large scratches on the car’s hood, on its passenger side door and front wheel well on the driver’s side.

• There was $200 in graffiti damage to the Batavia Skate Park, 411 S. River St., it was reported to police on Monday, May 21.

• Jimmy John’s, 9 N. Randall Road, reported to police on Monday, May 21, a lost merchant’s deposit bag that contained $2,600.

• Kristan A. Malone, 26, of the 4200 block of West 21st Place, Chicago, was charged Monday, May 21, with violation of an order of protection.

• A smokehouse smoker valued at $200 was taken Sunday, May 20, from the 100 block of South Barton Trail.

• An unknown offender took two bottles of alcohol valued at $62 from Jewel, 119 S. Randall Road. It was reported to police Friday, May 18.

• David James Dollinger, 40, of the 600 block of First Street, Batavia, was charged Friday, May 18, with battery. The victim told police that Dollinger shoved him twice in a verbal dispute over an unpaid utility bill.

• Two juveniles were charged Friday, May 18, with retail theft after police said they took a package of socks valued at $14, a watch valued at $59.95 and three wallets valued at $28 each from Kohl’s, 251 N. Randall Road.

• Several unlocked cars in the 300 block of Douglas Road, as well as unlocked cars on Maves Drive and Davis Road, were burglarized Thursday, May 17.

All the burglaries occurred in the overnight hours. A purse, iPod and pullover valued at $300 were taken from an unlocked car parked in the 300 block of Douglas Road.

In another burglary, a laptop computer and wallet valued at $1,000 were taken from an unlocked car parked in the 300 block of Douglas Road. Another burglary involved $20 in cash being taken from an unlocked car in the 300 block of Douglas Road.

In addition, a pair of sunglasses was taken from an unlocked car in the 300 block of Maves Drive, and a navigation system was taken from an unlocked car in the 400 block of Davis Road.

• An iPod Nano valued at $100 and headphones valued at $150 were taken Thursday, May 17, from XSport Fitness, 81 N. Randall Road.

• Brendan R. McCarthy, 20, of the 200 block of Exeter Lane, Sugar Grove, was charged Thursday, May 17, with retail theft after police said he took a video game from Walmart, 801 N. Randall Road.
