Sara Phalen of West Chicago and Bradley Kimme of West Chicago were united in marriage Nov. 12 at the St. Louis Catholic Church in Princeton. She is the daughter of Susan and Bill Phalen of Wyanet. He is the son of Deb and Dennis Kimme of Mahomet.

Bethany Phalen, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor, and Rada Portzer, friend of the couple, was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Krista Kimme, sister of the groom, Stephanie Kimme, sister-in-law of the groom, Jessica Martin, cousin of the bride, and Anni Holm, friend of the couple, Bridget Simbila of the bride, and Carey Panier, friend of the couple. Flower girls were Brenna Sloat, niece of the bride, and Dani Kimme, cousin of the groom.

Kyle Kimme, brother of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Matt Phalen, brother of the bride, Kyle Behnke friend of the groom, Don Burgess, friend of the couple, Andy Roscoe, friend of the couple, Mike Warren, friend of the groom, Joel Portzer, friend of the couple, and Jim Staniszewski friend of the couple. Ushers were Brian Martin, cousin of the bride, David Arreola, friend of the couple, Pete Franceschini, friend of the couple, and Lou Franceschini, friend of the couple. Ring bearers were Kyler Sloat, nephew of the bride, Connor Kimme, nephew of the groom, and Logan Kimme, nephew of the groom.

The couple was honored at a reception at Starved Rock Lodge in Utica.

The couple enjoyed a two-week trip to Australia. They are making their home in West Chicago.

The bride is a 1999 graduate of Bureau Valley High School in Manlius, a 2003 graduate of the University of Illinois, Champaign, and a 2006 graduate of the Northern Illinois University Law School in DeKalb. She is the director of People Made Visible, in house corporate counsel for Fox Valley Women & Children's Health Partners in St. Charles and the director/curator at the Warrenville City Museum.

The groom is a 1998 graduate of Mahomet-Seymour High School in Mahomet and a 2002 graduate of the University of Illinois, Champaign. He is vice president of finance at General Electric in Chicago.
