Walde-Donnelly
Cynthia Maureen Walde and Aaron Michael Donnelly, both of Bloomington, were married Oct. 22, 2011, at St. Patrick Church of Merna in Bloomington. Father Luke Spannagel presided over the wedding.
The bride is the daughter of Jack and Leslie Walde of Winfield and Ray and Maureen Kazmierczak of Yorkville. She is a 1995 graduate of Wheaton North High School and a 2000 graduate of Illinois State University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She is employed by Country Financial in Bloomington.
The groom is the son of Martin and Sandra Donnelly of DeKalb. He is a 1992 graduate of DeKalb High School and a 2001 graduate of Illinois State University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. He is employed by Country Financial in Bloomington.
Jennifer Tilsk of West Chicago, friend of the bride, was the Matron of Honor. Bridesmaids were Andrea Schafer of Parker, Colo., sister of the bride; Jessica Stewart of DeKalb, sister of the groom; and Mandy Dahm of Bloomington, friend of the bride.
Junior attendants were Becca Walde of Warner Robins, Ga., niece of the bride; Aubrey Schafer of Parker, Colo., niece of the bride; and Brenna Schafer of Parker, Colo., niece of the bride.
Laura Spelich of Chicago, cousin of the groom, and Jessica Stewart of DeKalb, sister of the groom, served as lectors.
Adam Donnelly of Sugar Grove, brother of the groom, and Rodger Guendling of Mokena, friend of the groom, were the Best Men.
Groomsmen were Bryan Walde of Warner Robins, Ga., brother of the bride, and Adam Jones of Bloomington, friend of the groom.
Max Walde of Warner Robins, Ga., nephew of the bride, was a junior groomsman. Ring bearers were nephews of the groom Aidan Donnelly of Sugar Grove, and Christian Stewart, Grayson Stewart and Matthew Stewart, all of DeKalb.
The wedding reception was held at The Chateau Hotel & Conference Center in Bloomington. The wedding trip was to Riviera Maya, Mexico.
The couple resides in Bloomington.
