SYCAMORE — Driv-Lok components have been and are in product assemblies used in surgery, defense, all forms of transportation, sports and recreation, police and fire protection, and the space program.
Learn more about this local company and how they make "Sycamore Works" during the Sycamore History Museum's December Brown Bag Lunch at noon, Thursday, Dec. 1 at the Federated Church, 612 W. State St.
According to Gary Seeger, Driv-Lok president: "Driv-Lok provides the industrial world with American-made, custom, precision fastening components.
"Since 1940, the company has grown its capabilities from the founder's initial dream of producing a full line of grooved pins to now manufacturing over 2,000 products in 12 different product lines to over 900 customers with 150 machines and 90 employees."
This talk compliments the museum's current exhibit, "Why Sycamore Works."
