Kiwanis go to the mat for Fulton wrestlers

FULTON – The Fulton Kiwanis Club went to the mat, literally, for the Fulton High School wrestling program.

The Kiwanis Club donated $1,000 to the program after $10,000 was raised to buy a new wrestling mat.

Chris Meyers, president of the Kiwanis Club, recently presented the final $1,000 needed to buy the mat, which cost $11,000. Fulton wrestlers and Fulton Boosters raised $10,000 but were short $1,000.

Meyers presented Coach Aaron Kuebel and wrestler Brady Feller with the $1,000 check.
