New Aldi store to open in Bolingbrook

A grand opening ceremony will be held next Thursday

A new Aldi grocery store will hold its grand opening next week in Bolingbrook.

The new store is located at 734 E. Boughton Road in a portion of an old Bed Bath and Beyond store on the village’s east side, according to a Facebook post by Village Trustee Michael Carpanzano.

Village officials will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday at 8:30 a.m.

The store will be open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Aldi has two other locations in Bolingbrook at 351 Brookview Lane and at 317 N. Weber Road.

The company said in a news release last month it’s hiring 20,000 new store and warehouse employees to supports its growth across the country.
