Plainfield school will have new assistant principal next year

Erin Allison will serve as assistant principal at Liberty Elementary School in Plainfield for the 2021-2022 school year.

The District 202 Board of Education approved Allison at its regular meeting on May 12.

Allison is currently a special education teacher at Nelson Prairie Elementary School in New Lenox District 122. She will replace current Liberty assistant principal Megan Urban.

Urban will work in the student services department next year.

Allison previously worked as a teacher aide at a private school in Carbondale (2010) and as a special education teacher and administrator at two schools in District 186 (2011 to 2021) in Murphysboro, Illinois.
