Nominations are open for the sixth annual Cheryl Ricciardi Exceptional Student Service Award.

In addition, the District 202 Board of Education is seeking nominees for its 29th Annual Awards of Excellence.

Parents, students, district staff and community members are invited to make nominations for either award.

Nominations for both awards are due 5 p.m. March 15.

This Cheryl Ricciardi Exceptional Student Service Award honors a school-level certified student service worker at District 2020 who exhibits extraordinary dedication to students. Any certified student services employee may be nominated.

The Award of Excellence recognizes teachers and non-administrative staff “whose work on behalf of students, and support of District 202 has been exceptional in some way,” according to a news release from District 202.

Past nominees and recipients of the Award of Excellence can be nominated again. A list of past recipients is posted on the nomination page.

Due to ongoing pandemic health concerns and state public meeting guidelines, awards will be delivered to Award of Excellence recipients. Typically the awards are given at a banquet.

To make a nomination, go to the online nomination form for each award on the front page of the District 202 website at psd202.org.
