A Rockdale man was taken into custody at Longshots Sports Bar and Grill when he pushed over tables and attempted to start a fight with other patrons, police said.
About 10:46 p.m. Friday, officers responded to the bar at 1609 W. Jefferson St., in response to a report of a disturbance, according to Joliet police.
When the officers arrived at the scene, they determined Steven Hochstatter, 37, of the 500 block of Moen Avenue was intoxicated, pushed over tables and attempted to start fights with other patrons, police said.
“Longshots staff called 911 after Hochstatter refused to leave the premises,” police said.
Hochstatter was arrested on probable cause of criminal trespass to property and disorderly conduct and released on his own recognizance, according to police.
Hochstatter was scheduled to appear in court April 8.
