Whimsy is a fun-loving, friendly and sweet 2-year-old who loves all sorts of toys. Besides playing, Whimsy loves getting pets and attention from anyone. Her confidence allows her to go right up to people, introduce herself and become friends. She gets along well with other cats. She hasn’t been around dogs or children, but her personality should allow her to be happy in any forever home. To meet Whimsy, contact Humane Haven Animal Shelter at 630-378-4208 or visit hhas.org.

Cheeks is a 1-year-old domestic shorthair that was found as a stray. He is friendly and social and seems to like everyone he meets. He loves attention and enjoys pets. To meet Cheeks, email Delonda at delonda@nawsus.org or call NAWS at 708-478-5102. Visit nawsus.org.

Danny is a 1-year-old brindle terrier. He is sweet, but a little shy – he warms up quickly after a few pets and loves to cuddle. He knows “sit” and takes treats gently, but he is still learning commands and would benefit from additional training. To meet Danny, email Stacy at stacy@nawsus.org. Visit nawsus.org.

One-year-old King Kong is energetic and wants to play and run with people. He was heartworm positive when he came to Hopeful Tails, but he has since finished his treatment. When he first meets someone, he rolls onto his back for tummy scratches. He likes playing fetch and going on walks. He weighs 45 pounds and needs to be the only dog in the home. Children need to be 12 or older. To meet King Kong, contact Hopeful Tails Animal Shelter at hopefultailsadoptions@outlook.com. Visit hopefultailsanimalrescue.org.

Taysia is a 2-year-old, 38-pound dog with a zest for life. She is perfect for someone who needs a walking partner. Children in the home need to be age 12 or older. To meet Taysia, contact Hopeful Tails Animal Shelter at hopefultailsadoptions@outlook.com. Visit hopefultailsanimalrescue.org.

Rocco is a 6-year-old sheepdog/shepherd mix who was surrendered by his owner. He’s sweet and spunky and has a crooked face, possibly due to genetics or an old injury. Rocco doesn’t let that stop him and has no issues eating or playing. To meet Rocco, contact the Will County Humane Society at willcountyhumane.com and follow the instructions for the adoption process.

Chad is a 3 year-old large, male domestic short-hair. He is a little bit shy, so he gets overlooked. Please give him a forever home. To meet Chad, contact the Will County Humane Society at willcountyhumane.com and follow the instructions for the adoption process.
