A Chicago man died after being hit by a vehicle in Bolingbrook.

Officers responded at around 9:27 p.m. on Friday to the 400 block of West North Frontage Road for a report of an accident involving a vehicle and a pedestrian, the Bolingbrook Police Department said.

Upon arrival, officers found that Marcus Marks, 52, of Chicago was traveling on foot when he was struck by a vehicle, police said.

Marks was pronounced dead at scene, police said. The accident remains under investigation.
