District 202

The Plainfield District 202 Board of Education approved the new contract during a special meeting on Tuesday,

Plainfield Township beta tested the Thriveworks program in 2023 and then increased its budget in 2024 for mental health services.

Audrey Stein who served School District 202 for 24 years, will serve as grand marshall for the Plainfield community homecoming parade, which steps off at 9 a.m. Sept. 28.

Plainfield Police Officer Dean Klier said his experience in his first year as a school resource officer has taught him that "everybody has a story,” whether it’s “inside the school or on the street.”
