Police arrest man they say failed to register as a sex offender

STERLING – Police have found a man they say failed to register as a sex offender as required.

Daniel L. Williams, 37, was arrested at 3:30 p.m. Monday in a traffic stop in the 1500 block of Avenue G and taken to Whiteside County jail. He has a bond hearing this afternoon.
