Parade planned for retiring principal

GRAND DETOUR - Faith Christian School is planning a special send-off for retiring Principal Linda Foster.

Foster joined the staff at Faith Christian School in 1991 and became principal in 2006. She’ll be retiring at the end of the school year.

To celebrate, the school is inviting the community to take part in a parade to honor Foster from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. May 19 at Faith Assembly Church of Grand Detour, 3886 Wisconsin St.

Parade participants are welcome to decorate their vehicles for the drive-thru event to show their love and appreciation to Foster for her years of service to the school and its students. There will be signs marking the route to the church.
