Oregon’s Benny Olalde scores 19 in win: Friday’s Sauk Valley roundup

Boys basketball

Oregon 67, North Boone 45: Benny Olalde (19 points), Kade Girton (15) and Keaton Salsbury (14) led Oregon (5-2) in the win to avenge a loss to the Vikings earlier in the season.

Girls basketball

Eastland 42, Fulton 34: Olivia Klinefelter led Eastland (4-7) with 17 points and 10 rebounds in the home win. Sienna Peterson added 10 points, all at the line, for Eastland. Fulton (1-4) freshman Breleigh Hayton led the Steamers with 17 points. Fulton trailed by two in last two minutes before the Cougars pulled away.
