DIXON- The Dixon Park District will have a controlled burn on Sunday at the prairie in The Meadows. Because of the controlled burn, the prairie will be closed to the public. Controlled burns are fires that are intentionally set for farming, prairie restoration, forest management or greenhouse gas abatement.
