The Ogle County Historical Society recently received a donation from Harvard State Bank in support of a time capsule project to commemorate the country’s 250th anniversary.

The 50-year capsule will be buried on the grounds of the Ruby Nash home at Sixth Avenue and Franklin Street in Oregon in August.

Ogle County residents are urged to submit their letters for inclusion in the capsule at any county library by July 12.
