Oregon reminds residents of parking on streets after snow

Odd/even system is in play

The City of Oregon’s Odd/Even parking ordinance goes into effect after 1 inch of snow fall. On odd days (Dec. 29) vehicles should be parked on the odd side of the street until 7 a.m. the next day. Then the vehicles should be moved to the even side of the street (Dec. 30).

“Once the street is cleared to the curb and no more snow falls you may park on either side,” said City Administrator Darin DeHaan.

On garbage pick up nights, residents are asked to please remove their cans as soon as possbile after pick up.

“Thank you and drive safe!,” DeHaan said.
