Enjoy terrific live musical entertainment in the great outdoors at Raue Center’s Arts on the Green! On Saturday, July 31st at 7:00 p.m., award-winning singer/songwriter Derrick Procell will sing the Blues on the green at Saint Mary’s Episcopal Church, located at 210 McHenry Avenue in Crystal Lake.
Originally from Milwaukee, Derrick Procell is a sought-after frontman, vocalist, and musician who performs as a solo artist, with his band Derrick Procell and the Redeemers, and with the tribute band Soundtracks of a Generation.
Procell has had songs recorded by The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir, Logan Daniels, and Melissa Manchester. His songs have been featured in the television shows My Name is Earl, TrueBlood, Criminal Minds, Boston Legal, Saving Grace, and The Office, and in the Oscar-nominated film Lady Bird. Procell has written hundreds of songs in the Blues, Country Rock, Rock & Roll, Soul, and Rhythm & Blues genres, and has provided vocals for McDonald’s, Chevrolet, Budweiser, Coca-Cola, and Kellogg’s advertisements.
