Letter: Thankful for her children

I am a 75 year mother of four and grandmother of three. My granddaughter just turned 4 in September. What is significant is that I had her mother when I was two months shy of turning 44. My daughter just turned 32 Oct. 2, and has an older son, who will be 6 years old next month. I do know that my husband and I did not have much and it was a hardship, medically and financially, at that time. I was working and our last child was 12 years old. But we did have help from the family, community and parish of St. John the Baptist in Johnsburg. I am grateful for all of my four children and my grandchildren, especially since my husband died three years ago.
