Letter: Kindness is still here in Woodstock

keyboard

To the Editor:

Kindness is alive and well and living in Woodstock.

Backing out of my driveway on Dec. 29, my car got stuck in the snow at the end of my driveway. I was halfway into the street and unable to budge.

Without fanfare, my mail woman Brenda parked her vehicle and told me she’d give me a push. Seconds later, an officer of the law stopped his car and came to my aid.

Finally, two fellows in their work truck stopped to assist. It took all four of them to dig and push my car into the street.

Don’t tell me life isn’t good and people aren’t generous.
