Letter: Corrupt politician

To the Editor:

The person, or I assume Trump-backer, that wrote about accusations against Biden from a book he read assumes all politicians are corrupt while in government.

I cannot agree or disagree with him on that point.

However, the non-politician we had for the past four years as president is more than corrupt. He’s evil, racist, won’t admit defeat, is all about himself and has set democracy back for many years.

He walked away from the coronavirus, defied science, refused a mask, watched thousands die because of his ineptness and showed what a miserable human being he is.

How his followers stay with him is more like a cult figure who promises everything and gives them nothing in the end.

Some have compared him to late cult leader Jim Jones and would die for him no matter how evil he is.

He had to be defeated and enough American voters from both parties saw the real side of him to elect Joe Biden. Maybe democracy still has a chance in our great country.
