McHenry County Patriot Run slated to take place Sunday at McHenry County College

The eighth annual McHenry County Patriot Run will benefit the Veterans Path to Hope – formerly called TLS Veterans – and the Veterans Assistance Commission.

The event will kick off at 7:30 a.m. Sunday at McHenry County College, which is where both the 5K and 5-mile courses will start and finish, according to a news release.

The McHenry County Patriot Run committee includes several veterans, avid runners and Crystal Lake residents. It was formed several years ago to help raise funds for veterans in the community.
