Town hall will take place at 6:30 p.m. June 15 via Facebook Live

State Rep. Suzanne Ness, D-Crystal Lake, will host a town hall at 6:30 p.m. June 15 via Facebook Live for members of the public.

“I believe in the importance of providing members of the district with updates on the work that I have been doing in Springfield on their behalf,” Ness said in a news release. “My colleagues and I have been hard at work on important items such as passing a balanced budget, ethics reform, providing critical COVID-19 relief, increasing access to affordable health care, finding measures to improve safety in our communities, improving quality of care to vulnerable populations, and so much more. I encourage all residents to attend to learn more and share your feedback.”

This will be the second town hall meeting Ness has hosted this year and will provide an overview of the legislative session and the impact to District 66, as well as providing information on the budget, COVID-19 relief, education, economic development, taxes and health care, according to the release.

Time also will be made for questions and concerns from attendees. This virtual event is free and open to the public.
