The McHenry County State’s Attorney’s Office on Friday welcomed a new prosecutor to its criminal division, according to a news release.
Justin Neubauer, who previously spent five years with the Winnebago County State’s Attorney’s Office, started his role Friday as an assistant state’s attorney in McHenry County.
Neubauer graduated cum laude in May 2015 from Northern Illinois University College of Law. He earned his bachelor’s degree with an English major and psychology minor from NIU in May 2011.
During law school, Neubauer worked as a law clerk at Perkins & Zayed and Harold W. Conick & Associates, according to the release. He also completed internships with the Kings County District Attorney’s Office and Ogle County State’s Attorney’s Office.
