Ron’s Tidy Tank Septic Service in Cary acquired by new owner

Ron’s Tidy Tank Septic Service in Cary, which has been in business for more than 50 years, is under new ownership.

The ownership change was marked last month by a ribbon-cutting hosted by the Cary-Grove Area Chamber of Commerce, according to a news release.

Joe Moran purchased the business in May after a six-month search to acquire a highly regarded home service business, according to the release. Moran spent 12 years in the investment industry, including stints in Detroit, New York City and Chicago.

Moran made the decision to acquire Ron’s Tidy Tank, 65 S. Route 31, Unit A, Cary, because of its reputation in the community for quality service, the experience and tenure of its employees, and the opportunity to grow its effect on the communities it serves, according to the release.

“Doing business in this community is a daily reminder of what business and community are all about – building relationships; taking care of one another; and creating a positive impact for our customers, employees and community,” Moran said in a statement. “My wife, Kate, and two young daughters, Noelle and Winnie, are so glad to be a part of the community and hope to contribute in a positive way for many years to come.”

Ron’s Tidy Tank Septic Service provides cleaning, care and regular maintenance for residential and commercial septic systems.
