Huntley girls basketball team tops Crystal Lake South, improves to 6-0 in FVC

Huntley went into Crystal Lake and earned a 50-39 Fox Valley Conference win against Crystal Lake South on Tuesday to preserve its perfect conference record.

Jori Heard led Huntley (10-4, 6-0 FVC) with 13 points, Jessi Ozzauto had 11, and Morgan McCaughn added 10. It was all Kree Nunnally on the losing end. She scored 27 points for the Gators.

Woodstock North 47, Richmond-Burton 42: At Richmond, the Thunder picked up a Kishwaukee River Conference win.

Kalei Jones led Woodstock North with 12 points, and Katelynn Ward scored 10, while Lyndsay Regnier led R-B with 14.

Harvest Christian 50, Alden-Hebron 20: At Hebron, the Giants struggled offensively in a home loss.

Jessica Webber led A-H (10-8) with 10 points.

BOYS BASKETBALL

Rockford Lutheran 76, Johnsburg 44: At Johnsburg, Ian Boal was top scorer for Johnsburg with 14 points, and Dylan Schmidt was just behind him with 13.

Harvest Christian 69, Alden-Hebron 39: At Hebron, the Giants were led by Thomas Webber, who scored 15 points in a home loss.
