La Salle, Utica host St. Patrick’s Day parades Saturday

Several La Salle restaurants also will feature Irish fare

Downtown La Salle and Utica will be filled with green Saturday for both communities’ St. Patrick’s Day parades.

La Salle’s Irish Fun Day Parade is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. The parade will line up at noon at the Knights of Columbus parking lot at Second and Wright streets. The parade route starts at Bucklin and Second streets, proceeds south to First Street, east on First Street to La Harpe Street.

Several La Salle restaurants and organizations — Lock 16 Cafe, 9th Street Pub, Obee’s, Haze Smokehouse, Uptown Grill, Lil Mad Cafe, Koncz’s and the Knights of Columbus — will be offering Irish fare Saturday.

At 5 p.m., Utica’s St. Patrick’s Day parade will begin at the Knights of Columbus to downtown.
