St. Margaret’s support group for persons affected by Parkinson’s disease will meet Monday, July 5, at 1:30 p.m. in the Spring Valley hospital’s First Floor Presentation Room. This month’s speaker will be Mary Levy, an instructor at the Ottawa YMCA. She will talk about a class she conducts on exercises that directly benefits those with Parkinson’s.

The support group offers emotional support, socialization and an opportunity to share information with others who are affected by Parkinson’s disease. The group meets regularly every first Monday of the month in the St. Margaret’s First Floor Presentation Room. Free valet parking is provided, and wheelchairs are available in the hospital.
