Two fugitives apprehended Tuesday in Earlville

Both parties had outstanding warrants

Members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force from the La Salle County Sheriff’s Office apprehended two fugitives Tuesday.

Andrew A. Ortega, 41, was taken into custody at a residence in Earlville on four outstanding McClean County warrants on petitions to revoke his probation (cases include burglary, identity theft and felony theft).

Task Force Members also arrested Karisa B. Blake, 29, at the Earlville residence on outstanding warrants from Will County and the Batavia Police Department for failure to appear (retail theft). Both subjects were transported to La Salle County Jail. Ortega is being held without bond. Blake’s bond is set at $1,500 full cash.

Earlville Police Department also assisted Task Force Members with this arrest.
