Power outage reported in Oglesby, Utica, neighboring areas

City of Oglesby received word at 12:01 p.m. Thursday that Ameren had a transformer malfunction that provides the entire electric feed to Oglesby. Ameren personnel are in route to troubleshoot the issue. There is no estimated time of repair yet, said Oglesby Commissioner Jason Curran.

Some areas of Utica also are reporting power outages.
