Bottom Road near Peru to close for a week

County Highway 63, known as East 2551st Road, or Bottom Road, in Peru Township will be closed for a culvert replacement beginning on Monday, Aug. 7.

The project is located 2 miles west of Route 251. The work is expected to be completed in a week, weather permitting.

Motorists are advised by the La Salle County Highway Department to use alternative routes around the construction site.
