A 25-year-old Peru man was arrested Sunday on a La Salle County warrant on charges of residential burglary and theft and taken to La Salle County Jail.

Peru police were called to a resident on Peru’s southwest side to investigate a break-in. Officers concluded their investigation and sent information to the La Salle County State’s Attorney’s Office that led to warrant being issued, said a Peru press release.
