Four families were displaced from the apartment complex fire in downtown Ladd on Monday morning.

The American Red Cross has provided these families with emergency assistance, the Bureau County Emergency Management Agency said in a news release.

Community members who would like to donate items or gift cards for those displaced by the fire are asked to contact the Ladd Village Hall, 121 N. Main Ave., at 815-894-2440 during normal business hours for further information.
