Ottawa Recreation’s seventh and final week will feature the Ottawa Recreation Game Carnival, which will take place 1:15 to 3:15 p.m. Wednesday, July 21, at Walsh Park. The carnival consists of sidewalk games children can play for 10 cents each. If it rains Wednesday, the carnival will be Thursday, July 22.
Additionally, the Ottawa Recreation tennis tournament runs July 19 to 23at the Ottawa High School tennis courts.

A boys basketball open gym for those entering seventh and eighth grades will be offered at Shepherd Middle School for $10 a participant, payable at the door, Monday, Aug. 2, through Wednesday, Aug. 4. Boys scrimmage will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m.
A girls basketball open gym for those entering seventh and eighth grades will be offered at Shepherd Middle School for $10 a participant, payable at the door, Monday, Aug. 2, through Thursday, Aug. 5. Girls scrimmage will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
AM Parks will swim for the last time Monday, July 19. See your park supervisors for pickup times. Tuesday is the last day at the parks for supervisors
