Annika Michlik has signed on to continue her education and tennis career at Illinois Valley Community College.

Ottawa junior singles player Zulee Moreland won 23 matches, Interstate 8 Conference Tournament and Ottawa Sectional championships, claimed an opening-round victory at the IHSA Class 1A state meet and is the 2024 Times Girls Tennis Player of the Year.

Ottawa junior Zulee Moreland won the Class 1A Ottawa Sectional singles championship on Saturday, while La Salle-Peru captured the team title at the Henderson-Guenther Tennis Facility.

Streator girls tennis coach will retire Kaye Tallier at the end of the season after 28 seasons leading the Bulldogs' netters.

The Streator girls tennis team swept all three doubles matches and earned a 4-1 victory over Kankakee in Monday's match at the SHS courts.
