Boys and girls Cross Country teams from Mendota, La Salle-Peru, Princeton, Newman, Amboy, Morris, Hall and Fieldcrest all competed during the Gary Coates Invitational Cross Country meet on Saturday, Sept. 14, 2024 at Zearing Park in Princeton.

Sandwich freshman Sunny Weber finished runner-up at the Class 1A State Cross Country championship, while Seneca sophomore Evelyn O'Connor also medals after placing 12th.

Teams from Putnam County, Henry-Senachwine, Hinckley Big Rock, Bureau Valley, Marquette, St. Bede, Princeton, Sandwich, Hall, Somonauk and Seneca all competed in the Class 1A Regional Cross Country meet on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2022 at the Seneca FFA Farm in Marseilles.

The harriers of La Salle County assembled Saturday morning at The Eastwood in Streator for the La Salle County Invitational.

Sandwich freshman Sunny Weber won the girls race and Aurora Central Catholic's Patrick Hilby won the boys race at the 13th Annual Morris Early Bird Invite Wednesday, with the Morris girls and Sycamore boys taking the team titles.
