La Salle County police reports: July 19, 2023

Hershel D. Jones, 68, of Peru, was charged by Peru police with domestic battery at 10 p.m. Monday in his residence. At 12:44 p.m. Tuesday at the same location, Jones was charged with violation of bail bond.
