About six hours after calling for more volunteers to help the search Tuesday, the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office reported a 45-year-old woman was found safe and in good spirits.

Barbara Neill was found safe at about 7:35 p.m. Tuesday, said Sheriff Ken Briley.

Multiple police and fire agencies searched an area near Old South Mazon and Grinter roads on Monday after she was reported missing by family.
