A man wanted for an Illinois Department of Corrections parole violation was arrested Monday in Streator, according to the La Salle County Sheriff’s Office.

Members of the US Marshals Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force from the La Salle County Sheriff’s Office apprehended Tyshawn D. Stewart, 24, on the 100 block of East Sumner Street. The Streator police also assisted in the arrest.

Stewart was taken to La Salle County Jail where he is being held with no bond.
