Junk in the Trunk to take place Saturday

Flea market will be held at Honest Abe’s

MORRIS — There will be a “Junk in The Trunk” sale at Honest Abe’s restaurant just south of Morris on Rt. 47 on Saturday, Sept. 25.

This is a fundraising event for All Those Left Behind (ATLB ) animal shelter. It is a flea market family event. The same rules apply for this event as for the JITT events that take place at 100 Commercial Drive in Morris. Startup time is 8:30 a.m. and the sale is from 10a.m.-4 p.m. There is also a $20 vendor fee.

Antiques, toys, tools, collectibles, household items, things from your past, etc. are what you find at the Morris JITT events. For a list of rules and any questions call Ken at 815-942-2032 or email him at willis824@comcast.net.

This is a great event that is located on your way out to the “Log Cabin Festival” on Southmor Road. It is a great location and there is great food at the restaurant.

Oct. 17. will be the last JITT event for 2021 in Morris at 100 Commercial Drive, just off Rt. 47 behind the BP Amoco station. JITT in Morris was created by Ken Willis in 2009 to raise funds for different local charities and causes. The same hours, costs, and rules apply to this event as the Honest Abe’s event. This is a fun event for the whole family. There are no entrance fees for customers.
