Drive Through Dinner Aug. 13 in Sandwich

SANDWICH — The Philanthropic Education Organiation (PEO) Sandwich Chapter is hosting its annual “You Chill… We Grill” Drive Thru BBQ Dinner Fundraiser on Friday, Aug. 13, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., at United Church of Sandwich, located at 512 Lions Rd. in Sandwich.

A very busy 5 B’s team will be doing the grilling and a very nice group of volunteers will be preparing a selection of meals: 2 pork chops, ½ a chicken or a combo (1 chop of and a ¼ chicken) including baked beans, coleslaw, apple sauce, dinner roll and butter. Meals are $14 (cash or check). This is a Friday event, and you certainly deserve a break from a hectic week, so drive-on-up and pick up a meal or two!

P.E.O. is a philanthropic organization. Proceeds from this fundraiser will promote the education of women through grants, scholarships, and loans.
