Genoa Lions present Citizen of the Year awards

In past years, the Genoa Lions Club has hosted the 12 recipients of the Genoa-Kingston School District Citizen of the Year Award and their parents to a dinner and award ceremony in April.

The evening included dinner, a brief greeting from the G-K schools superintendent and a ceremony with principals and teachers introducing each student.

Unfortunately, the event was canceled this year, because of the COVID-19 pandemic stipulations from the state. A congratulatory letter and Citizen of the Year medal was sent to each student.
