Sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of fraud at 4:32 p.m. Jan. 7 in the 0 to 100 block of Clark Avenue in Oswego Township. An investigation is ongoing.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of identity theft at 10:23 a.m. on Jan. 8 in the 500 block of East Rennesoy Drive in Newark. An investigation is ongoing.

In-state warrant

Sheriff’s deputies arrested Kanisha L. Miller, 38, of the 1000 block of Route 30 in Oswego Township, on a failure-to-appear warrant on an aggravated assault charge out of Aurora. Deputies apprehended Miller after responding to a report of a disturbance at 8:47 a.m. Jan. 8 at her address. Deputies issued Miller a new court date and she was released on her own recognizance.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of identity theft at 1:49 p.m. Jan. 11 at the 0 to 99 block of Chippewa Drive in Oswego. An investigation is ongoing.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of fraud at 5:41 p.m. Jan. 11 in the 0 to 99 block of Woodridge Road in Boulder Hill. An investigation is ongoing.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of a theft at 6:40 p.m. Jan. 11 in the 0 to 100 block of Woodridge Road in Boulder Hill. An investigation is underway.

In-state warrant

Sheriff’s deputies arrested Lamar D. Sanders, 39, of the 700 block of East Benton Street in Aurora, on an in-state failure-to-appear warrant out of Kendall County on a charge of driving with a suspended license. Deputies apprehended Sanders while responding to a call at 11:31 p.m. Jan. 11 in the 2000 block of Route 34 in Kane County. Sanders’ bond was set at 10% of $5,000 with a $75 application fee. Deputies transported Sanders to the Kendall County Jail in Yorkville for processing.

Deputies responded to reports of domestic battery at 10:36 p.m. on Jan. 11 at the 0 to 100 block of Woodridge Road in Boulder Hill. An investigation is ongoing.
