Helmar Church will host Helmar Palooza on Saturday, Aug. 14. This will be a day filled with music, games, food and fun.
There will be 3-on-3 basketball, sand volleyball, pickleball and bags tournaments.
Beginning at 3 p.m., the 25-piece Chicagoland Pops Orchestra will kick off the music with patriotic selections. Other local artists will include Soldiers of The Cross from the Montgomery area and We the Least from Mendota.
The night is filled with headliners including Anne Wilson whose hit song “My Jesus” is heard on contemporary Christian radio stations. Also, 7eventh Time Down, whose hit “God is on the Move” was No. 1 in the country for five straight weeks.
There will be bounce houses, hula hoops, bubbles and more. 5B’s along with several food trucks will serve throughout the day.
